DJ Seip was born in Landshut, Germany, and discovered DJing at 14, not in a bedroom, but behind the decks of clubs across Southeast Asia. After winning the Belvedere DJ Battle, he became a fixture in venues across Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and China, spending years absorbing the energy of dancefloors on two continents before the music was ever his own.

He moved to Berlin for university but quickly became part of the city’s club scene. That’s when the production started. His first releases on Soul Kingz Records, “Prettyboy Swagg,” “Get Up,” and “I Want Her,” landed five placements in the MTV Top 10 Urban Charts, establishing him as both a DJ and a producer who could make records that moved beyond the booth.

His production style pulls from Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, and Afro sounds, shaped by years of reading rooms from Saigon to Berlin. He’s worked with Carlprit, Fortafy, Illijah, Devonte, MNSSH, Tweezy, Kns The Engineer, Rico Rossi, and more.

Now based in Berlin, DJ Seip releases music through Soul Kingz Records and is preparing new releases for 2026. His Backstage Game, a custom-built endless runner, gives fans early access to unreleased tracks, remixes, and stems before they hit streaming platforms.
